This week we are continuing to think about "When Life Gives Us Lemons, Make Lemonade." We are learning about having perseverance even when life is difficult! Click on the link below to take a look at my short video with Lucy from the Peanuts Gang:)
Here are a few optional activities to try at home to practice perseverance!
- Complete a project at home - organize your room, your closet, or your toy box, etc. Stick with it and don't give up, even if you divide the task over several days! Your parents will be sooooo excited!!!!
- Choose a skill you want to improve - shooting baskets, hitting a baseball, throwing a football, dribbling a soccer ball, rollerblading, skateboarding, playing a song w/ an instrument, painting a picture, etc. Set a goal of what you want to accomplish and stick with it until you reach the goal! It's a great feeling inside to accomplish a goal!

Securly Home App
Our school uses Securly to keep students safe on their school-issued devices. If you choose to use the SecurlyHome app, you'll have a real-time view of your child's activity on their school device. You'll also get a weekly email from Securly with a snapshot report of that activity. You can download the SecurlyHome app on or after February 7, 2020 by following the directions here. This video will explain more about the app.
