Mid-Atlantic Leadership Review Call for Papers!

The Mid-Atlantic Leadership Review (MLR) is a primarily online, peer-reviewed leadership studies journal based at Christopher Newport University. Its focus is to publish high-quality undergraduate research articles written by students or co-authored with faculty, as well as articles beyond the undergraduate level written by graduate students, faculty, and leadership practitioners. The MLR provides undergraduate students a great way to familiarize themselves with the publication process, develop a publication record, and act as a forum for collaborative faculty-student-practitioner undergraduate research. For the Summer 2015 issue we welcome research-based leadership papers that cover a wide range of topics. Please see the attached document for more information.

Friendly Reminder!

The next PLP Speaker is Monday, March 16th. Please keep in mind that there are TWO policies associated with the PLP Speaker Series.

Service Opportunities

The Food Cooperative is accepting applications for Volunteer Coordinators!

This is a low-commitment, entry position in the Food Cooperative leadership team. Basically, the Volunteer Coordinators help manage the day-to-day operations of the nightly deliveries of our unserved dining hall food to the Peninsula Rescue Mission. When groups such as the Fellows, a greek organization, or a service club sign up for a week of service, they are assigned a Volunteer Coordinator that handles all communications with them through their week, including a brief orientation and handling any troubleshooting that arises. Additionally, the Volunteer Coordinators get to have input in the vision and mission of a very special student organization on campus, the CNU Food Cooperative. Click here for the application!
