PLP Weekly Update
You're half way through the semester! You can do it!
Welcome Back!
Mid-Atlantic Leadership Review Call for Papers!
The Mid-Atlantic Leadership Review (MLR) is a primarily online, peer-reviewed leadership studies journal based at Christopher Newport University. Its focus is to publish high-quality undergraduate research articles written by students or co-authored with faculty, as well as articles beyond the undergraduate level written by graduate students, faculty, and leadership practitioners. The MLR provides undergraduate students a great way to familiarize themselves with the publication process, develop a publication record, and act as a forum for collaborative faculty-student-practitioner undergraduate research. For the Summer 2015 issue we welcome research-based leadership papers that cover a wide range of topics. Please see the attached document for more information.

Speaker Series
Leadership Minor
It is March folks, and that means it is a new month for the PLP Crush Hall of Fame! Black History Month Theme was a wonderful month of Crushes, so make sure you check out the Fellow’s office to see who won! As always, we thank you for your eagerness to vote and multiple suggestions. Last week our Parks and Rec poll came down just 2 VOTES! This month, after careful consideration, will be focused on Athletes. With spring sports in full swing here at CNU, we wanted to show some appreciation to all professional athletes who we find crush worthy. This week is a male’s week, and with NFL Free Agency starting yesterday, we are highlighting NFL crushes! Choose wisely!
Remember, if you have any suggestions for male or female crushes/different themes for each month feel free to email Zach at zachary.walseman@cnu.edu with your ideas!
Just follow the link below to pick the winner for this week!
Here are this week's contestants!
Tom Brady
Tom Brady is in the conversation as the greatest quarterback the NFL has ever seen! Drafted in the sixth round by the New England Patriots, he quickly became a star. He has won four Super Bowls in his time as a Patriot, and is already in the all-time record books for many offensive categories.
Cam Newton
Cam Newton played his collegiate career at Auburn, winning both a Heisman and a National Championship. He now is the quarterback for the Carolina Panthers, and he is arguably one of the most athletic quarterbacks in the league. He is a stud…nuff said.
Clay Matthews
Clay Matthews III originally walked on to USC, and now is one of the league’s best linebackers. This Green Bay Packer is known for his amazing locks and his back breaking sacks! His highlight reel is truly unbelievable.
