Winter Update
There has been a stomach bug going around the school so it's an important time to remind children about hand-washing, staying hydrated and getting enough sleep.
Thanks to some terrific parents and volunteers, we were able to go ice fishing on a beautiful afternoon with 3rd-5th grade students. Even though we didn't catch anything, the kids had fun and learned a lot!
Reminder, the computer lab is open at 7:50am for students in grades 3-5 to work on a reading program. This is a perfect time to take advantage of the program and gain some new skills. Students can also access Reading Plus at home. Let Mrs. Abi know if you have questions about it!
Snowshoeing has been rescheduled once again for 1st and 2nd grades. See the new dates below!
On December 21st, LIW students celebrated during a Christmas party in the gym. Students were divided into teams to get to know new friends and then they completed challenges by working together. You can check out some of the fun in the video below.
