Please have your child view one of the videos and write down 2 things he/she learned from the video. Please return it to school on Monday. Thanks!
Schedule for the Week:
Monday (9/29):
*Messy Day – Please have your child wear comfortable clothing for our messy day. We will be making mud pies, painting with shaving cream, wrapping mummies, etc…
*Flip Teaching Assignment Due – Please have your child view one of the videos and write down 2 things he/she learned from the video.
*Kindergarten Homework – Due on Friday.
*High Frequency Lesson #1 –This activity will help your child learn high frequency words – your child’s goal is to complete all 10 lessons and that is 100 words!
*P.E. – Please have your child wear tennis shoes and shorts under skirts/dresses.
Tuesday (9/30):
*Book Fair – You are welcome to join us at the book fair at 2:00. Younger siblings can come too. Meet us in the library!
*Report of Student’s Progress (Math Skills) – Please work with your child on any skills checked on the sheet.
*Music
Wednesday (10/01):
*Wear Tie-Dye for Core Essentials Creativity
*Take Home Reader – Your child will bring home a book to read to you – please ask your child to retell the story.
*P.E. – Please have your child wear tennis shoes and shorts under skirts/dresses.
Thursday (10/02):
*Fall Photo Day – Individual fall pictures of your child
*Computer Lab
*Art
Friday (10/03):
*Early Dismissal – School hours are from 8:20-12:40
*Good Manners – This tea party is only for the children to practice their table manners. Please have your child wear his/her Sunday best (tie, dress, feather boa, gloves, hat, pearls, etc…).
*Poem Book – Enjoy listening to your child chant “Little Miss Muffet”. Please return the poem book to school on Monday.
*No specials
Little Reminders:
*Please review and return your child’s daily take-home folder each school day.
*Please have your child bring a small towel to school for quiet time.
*Please send in snacks for the month of October. No peanut products, please!
