Marie Murphy Principal Message
August 24, 2021
Welcome Back!
It is hard to believe that we are already here. Tomorrow is the big day and Marie Murphy is ready and waiting for your wonderful children to arrive. This week I have taken pause to reflect on where we were a year ago at this time. My how far we have come and it is exciting! With that said, I do have to keep myself anchored and mindful of where we are with local metrics and the pandemic. This next step to open school fully to kids can only be successful with a true partnership between home and school. We have our protocols in place, PPE is ready, and the teachers are eager to bring children into a happy and safe learning environment. If your child is showing signs of illness we need them to stay home while you explore if it is a cold, allergies, or possibly covid. If you have questions at anytime please reach out to me and we will work through this together.
As a new member of the Marie Murphy team I am amazed at what this school has to offer your children. This team is working so hard to ensure that we are ready for a year that focuses on building a strong foundation of learning to support your children in their future endeavors. They are committed to you, the kids, and the community in a phenomenal way. I feel lucky to be here and I cannot wait to meet your children tomorrow.
Sleep well!
