VA Thespians Kudos & Happenings
This month for VA
Meet & Greet: The NEW Executive Director Hi, I am a Loudoun County Thespian graduate, K-12 teacher, and currently out of the classroom to expand VA Thespians, VTF, and more! I am excited to meet you, work with you, and grow together! See the welcome letter if you are just tuning in. | Director Spotlight: Woodgrove HS Beverly Pruzina was a trailblazing middle school director who is now the troupe director for Woodgrove HS in Loudoun for troupe 7747. She comes from the broadcasting field, owns a few horses, and loves her new, shorter commute. Woodgrove on average does 4 shows a year in the rolling fields of wine country in Northern VA. Their last show was Oklahoma! at a nearby barn in May. Their fall show will be Vampires, Werewolves, and Zombies, oh my! by John Jory. | Curtain Call Congrats: Moana Jr. @ RRPA Congratulations to RRPA at Rock Ridge HS for an awesome Broadway Bound camp! There were over 200 campers, 100 staff as well as interns, and 6 casts across the two weeks who showed us "Just How Far [they'll] Go" when they can get creative! Rock Ridge High School is in Eastern side of Loudoun County in VA. This was their annual summer camp program. Rock Ridge Performing Arts, their boosters program, produces 7 shows on average a year. Their fall show will be class performance followed by Xanadu in the winter. |
