Tom Buchanan
By: Brendan Turner
"And what's more, I love Daisy too. Once in a while I go off on a spree and make a fool of myself, but I always come back, and in my heart I love her all the time." (251-252)
I chose this quote for Tom because one of the main parts of the story revolves around Tom's relationship with Myrtle. I think that this is a significant quote because it shows the type of person that Tom is, and it also shows his reasoning when he knows he is doing wrong.
I chose this picture because the book describes the Buchanan's as rich, wealthy people, and obviously money was a big part of their life.
I chose this image because I think it gives an accurate representation of the true size of their house. The book describes them as being very wealthy, and owning a huge house located across the bay.
