Graebner Elementary School
Happy Fall Graebner Families,
Our first month of school has gone quickly as we welcomed students back to school for the 2022-23 school year! So many changes to get used to with new teachers and staff, the lunch program returning to the pre-pandemic system and everyone adjusting to coming back to school. Our first classroom assessments are underway and these assessments will guide our work for the months to come.
As we experience cooler weather, please assure that your child(ren) is dressed appropriately for the weather. We go outside all days unless it's raining, we are under any type of weather advisory or it is below 10 degrees wind chill factor (feels like temp). Once we get snow, students should wear water proof boots to go off blacktop.
I should also remind everyone about the front teacher lot. We again have parents parking in the lot that many students cross as walkers creating a non safe environment for students. The lot is not for student pick up or drop off. Please follow the procedures in the main lot or park off campus and use the crossing guards. We must keep everyone safe!
We already have a pile of belongings in the lost and found. Remind your child to check it!
Thank you for your continued support of your child's education here at Graebner. Thank you for being part of our team!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Wood, Principal
