Same, Same But Different
Looking at Diversity
Term 2 Literacy Unit
This week we looked at a book titled "Same, Same But Different" by J Kostecki‐Shaw. It is about two children who become pen-pals and share their lives and experiences with each other through pictures and only a few2 words. The message of the story is that deep down, we are more similar than we are different.
To celebrate our similarities as well as our diversity, students in 3/4 WG created picture collages that they believe represent themselves (their families, their home life, their expereinces, things that they enjoy).
They used an iPad app called PolyFrame to create their collages.
How is your life same, same but different to theirs?
