crime is where someone or a group of people do bad things such as breaking the law or stealing from someone, some people commit crime because they do not feel comfortable or don't have something they want. Crime is bad because they are not doing something fairly and that makes people concerned, but luckily we have groups of people that fight crime to insure the safety of our safety. The people who fight crime are called police, they are people who are armed and put whoever breaks the law into jail for a certain amount of time.

why do people commit crime?
Why do people commit crimes and what is a ‘typical criminal’? There is little doubt that some commit a crime such as shoplifting out of desperation, especially when food is concerned. Yet the same crime also attracts the attention of organised gangs who steal to order and cost stores hundreds of millions each year. The same crime but carried for different motives; one for survival, the other to make as much money as possible for as little work as possible. If caught, should each be treated the same as they committed the same crime. This accessible and well-written synthesis offers grim details of punishment.
