Washington’s PTA plans/organizes/staffs/funds/hosts/sponsors a wide-variety of student enrichment experiences. The events and programming we do throughout the year can not happen without Parent Volunteers. We encourage all families to be part of the PTA and give the gift of volunteering to our school. Please join our team and support our mission so we can continue with all the sponsored activities.

Student Illness
Student Illness
If a child displays any COVID-19 symptoms while in a District building, they will be sent home immediately and must stay home until either 1) ten days have passed, or 2) proof of a negative COVID-19 test is provided to our District Nurse. The only exceptions to this will be for students with pre-existing conditions or instances where a healthcare provider diagnoses symptoms as a non-COVID-19 illness. In these cases, you must provide our District Nurse with written proof from your healthcare provider.

Right At School Daycare - Before and After School Care Registration STILL OPEN!!
If you are seeking any daycare for students who are enrolled in Phased Into Learning, please know that Right At School offers a before and after school option. In addition, for our 4K families, Right At School offers a wrap program as well so students can stay the entire day.
Currently, these options only exist for our Phased Into Learning students.
Please click HERE or the button above for the link to register your child for before, after or wrap care through Right At School.
Sodexo and Breakfast/Lunch Program
Hello WSD Families,
Last week, we sent a communication regarding changes to our food services processes for the 2020-21 school year. You can view the contents of that communication here.
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) approved an extension of a waiver that allows us to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students enrolled in the Wauwatosa School District through December 31, 2020. This means that all students enrolled in the District - either via Phase Into Learning, Tosa Connected or Wauwatosa Virtual Academy - will have the opportunity to get breakfast and lunch for free, regardless of eligibility. Students are no longer required to have funds in their account to receive meals.
The approval of this waiver does not change the process that students and families must follow to order meals on the days a student is not learning in a District building. Families must still complete the appropriate form to purchase meals for all students in their household for the full five-day school week for those enrolled in Tosa Connected or Wauwatosa Virtual Academy. Those families who are in the Hybrid/Cohort model will place orders for the three days they are learning asynchronously.

Please note that the form must be submitted each week, at least 24 hours prior to meal pickup.
And finally, you can view breakfast and lunch menus for the month of September here.
