What I am Reading This Week:
- Learning by Doing, DuFour et. al, Chapter 5: Building the Collaborative Culture of a Professional Learning Community -Funny subtitle- "Are We Engaged in Collaboration or Coblaboration?" -EQ: When we meet as a PLC, do we have deep, meaningful discussions during our work that are around student achievement, performance, and learning? I think so, from what I have personally seen. I am still in awe of the 6th grade PLC last Monday, where we shared student work and discussed. Amazing.
- De'Sean Roby's work on our school wide Reading and Writing Initiative - with picture examples from our awesome teachers! The SLT got a sneak peek at the Thursday meeting.
- Your PD Plans - Submitted by Each Department Coach- Showing a Dedication to Our Students and Their Success - I am proud to be a part of this campus.
