Staff Shoutout
Katie Bakke: Thank you to Ms. Bakke for running the after school gardening club. The kids are having fun, even in the chilly weather we have had so far. I look forward to seeing the gardens that you create.
Hannah Bisek: My daughter always comes home gushing about how much she likes her teacher and learns so much!
Mr. Lewis: Thank you for being a wonderful role model! Madison absolutely loves gym and comes home telling us about the fun warm-ups, new games and activities she gets to do in your class. We really appreciate your focus on heart health and all the positive feedback you give to support your student's self-esteem. Thank you for standing outside day after day rain or shine helping all of the kids get picked up and sent home safe. You are so helpful, kind and a really fun and happy teacher! Thank you for all you do. We Appreciate You!
Ms. White: We want to thank you for everything you do in your class to make it such a fun and creative experience. When Madison brings home new artwork she's beaming from ear to ear and its wonderful hearing about all of the details and creative aspects of her art. You definitely put your heart into your students, Madison tells us how much she loves your class and tells us how supportive you are. Thank you for always writing so much detail on the artwork brought home, it's very much appreciated to read about the different concepts and background inspiration. Thank you for helping each day with getting the kids picked up, we really appreciate everything you do for us! You're an amazing teacher!
Ms. Kinziger: Ms. K we really appreciate you even from a far! Thank you for your positive attitude and love of music. You make the classroom a brighter place and have been very inspiring to Madison. We miss and appreciate you and hope you're feeling better each day!
Mr. Johanik: Thank you for making Outdoor Science so much fun for Madison and her class. She comes home telling us about all the adventures she's had, that include making maple syrup and learning about new trees and animals. You inspired us to try real maple syrup over ice cream and it was wonderful! Thank you for braving the elements each and every day to help us all pick-up our kids and get them safely home. We've seen you with a constant smile on your face even when our Duluth weather has been unfair so many times. The fun you show to students while teaching is so incredibly encouraging. Thank you for everything you've done all year. We Appreciate You!
Mr. Netland: Thank you so much for helping Madison's class with music and helping them prepare for the choir concert. She's been so excited to share the fun she's had in your class and says what a great teacher you are. We can tell from her stories that you're really engaging and kind. You've helped all year with parent pick-up and have always been happy and helpful. Thank you, we really appreciate you!
Ms. Kruger: Ms. Kruger is simply the best. Thank you for always going above and beyond for Madison and our family. You're a really special teacher that has been such a wonderful example of kindness, patience and optimism. You teach with such compassion and its been really beautiful to watch. You care so much about all of your students and Madison comes home just glowing with joy about you and her wonderful classmates. Thank you for teaching Madison virtually when covid numbers went up, protecting her immunocompromised brother. You didn't have to do that, and you did it anyways. Thank you for preparing materials for her when sick and for always being available regarding any concerns. You send emails early, late and on weekends to your class keeping us all informed and work so hard each day providing such an amazing learning experience for your students. We would like to say thank you a million times for your generosity and kindness.
Ms. Nordstrom: Thank you for all of the love and compassion you've shown our family this year. There's been early morning and late night emails and calls over the weekend and for all of that we are really grateful. Thank you for going above and beyond for us in so many ways. It's been such a beautiful start to the day for Madison to see you at the front doors greeting her and all of the students by name as they walk in and start their day. As a parent dropping off, it makes me feel so much better leaving her in such good hands. Thank you for your constant compassion and dedication to your students. We Appreciate You So Much!
Ms. Rackliffe: Thank you for all of your help this year with navigating covid and providing all of the resources and covid numbers for us, this must have been a lot more added to your already full plate. Thank you for making the school year a safe experience, and for being so accommodating to our family. We are so grateful for you and we're so excited to hear that you're the permanent Head of School! We Appreciate You!
