THE WEDNESDAY WEEKLY

March 13, 2013

HOME & SCHOOL GENERAL MEETING

Wednesday, Mar 13th, 7-9pm

Cold Spring Gym

Tonight, Wednesday, March 13th......Home & School Association General Meeting....all are welcome!

Come and listen, learn and ask questions about child safety issues: at home, in the car, and at play.

St. Mary's Regional Trauma Prevention Coordinator will be speaking about basic first aid and safety for kids of all ages.

PE PACERS RUNNING EXERCISE

Dear Parents:

Beginning next week, students in grades 1-6 will be asked to participate in the pacers running exercise in PE class. This exercise is meant for students to run to the best of their ability, “pace” themselves and stop running when they feel they’ve reached their maximum potential.

Please consider that if your child has exercise-induced asthma or other sensitivities, they may need to visit the health room prior to PE class next week to use their inhaler.

If you did not supply an inhaler or physician order to the health room this year, please visit the parent resource section of the CBSD website at http://www.cbsd.org/Pages/ParentResources.aspx to download a medication order form, obtain physician approval, sign the form and send the inhaler and completed form to school with your child.

Please contact the nurse’s office at 267-893-3815 if you have any questions.
