Fall Happenings in Physical Education
We've been fortunate to be able to use the covered hockey rink for the few days when it was raining, but most of our time was spent on the school's trails, bouncing balls off the walls, and enjoying the warm, dry fall weather. Students will continue to get geared up to spend PE outside, and we're already looking forward to the days when we'll be putting on ski boots and hitting the trails around school.

Happy November Timberwolf Families!
In this time of giving and caring I just wanted to tell everyone how thankful I am that this community has given me the opportunity to teach and be a role model to the students of Talkeetna Elementary. I am truly honored to be a part of this school and to have you, the families, help us make it all happen.
Everyday we try to create an environment reflective of these values: kindness, integrity, responsibility, respectfulness, and courage. It is important to model these values and show our kids what thankfulness and gratitude really feels like. Learning and feeling these intrinsic values are such a huge part of everyone’s education.
So throughout this year let’s take some time to celebrate the kids’ successes at the school. Tell them how proud you are and thankful they are trying their best. This positive reinforcement will go a long way, and will mean the world to the kids.
Thanks again for allowing me the opportunity to teach your kiddos. It has been a fun adventure so far!
Cheers,
Mr. Jamie
