Andrew Jackson
President
Andrew Jackson's Childhood
When Andrew was 14 he was hiding in a shed from the British, but one of the British solider's found him and his brother and captured them. The solider told Andrew to clean his shoe, but he said no. The solider then took his sword and tried to cut Andrews head but Andrew put his hand up and stopped the sword.
President Andrew Jackson
Andrew Jackson was President from March 4, 1829, to March 4, 1837. During though's years one of the biggest things he did was pass the Indian removal act, which made the Indians move from the West to the East. Then in 1833 Andrew Jackson announced that the government would no longer use the Second bank of America.
Andrew Jackson, Hero or Villain?
I think Andrew Jackson was more a villain then a hero because he made the Indians move out of there home's so white people could live there.
Education
Andrew Jackson didn't go to school, but when he got older he decided that he wanted to become a lawyer, he started studying the law with Spruce Mica. He wasn't good at spelling but he had passion for what he was doing and that was all that really mattered to him.
Praised or Criticized?
He was a good President, but he made some bad decisions, like the Indian removal act and shutting down the bank. But one of the good decisions he made was changing the way presidential campaigns are held.
