Good Morning,
I hope that everyone has a wonderfully blessed week!
This week students should spend time studying for thier upcoming social studies, science, and math quizzes that will take place this week and next. Homework is listed below.
We would like to have a lunch on Dec. 18th in the classroom. If you have not filled out your child's form please send it in this week. I sent the letters home last week in their weekly folders.
The Beta Club induction ceremony will be held on Jan. 17th at 6pm in the school cafeteria. Students should dress up for this event, it will be a very special occasion. They will receive their shirts at this event, if they ordered one.
The showcase for Gifted Student work will be held at Saluda Trail Middle School on Jan. 10th at 6:30pm. If your child is planning to attend this event, please let me know.
The pond study group will meet this Monday the 10th and next Monday the 17th only.
If students have not paid their camp fees, they are due in by Jan. 15th.
Homework for this week and next week
Students will have a quiz in science on Dec. 17th covering Force and Motion- What is a force, balanced and unbalanced forces, and gravity.
Students will have a quiz in social studies on Dec. 18th covering World War I, Great Depression, and The New Deal.
Students will have a quiz in math on Dec. 14th covering mean, median, mode, outlier, and range.
Student social studies folders are due Dec. 10th and their glog is also due on Dec. 10th.
