Leadership Conference

Kelsey Henderson, Marissa Polzin, Carlyn Rabe and Christian Lentz represented Yorkville Student Council at the leadership conference in Whitewater on October 15th. We learned many things about being a leader! We started out the day with seeing a performance by Ardan James, an entertainer! He was very entertaining and taught us: 1.) You are the only you. 2.) You are able. 3.) Set goals. 4.) Remained focused. He then held a workshop and in the afternoon we got into groups and did some leadership activities! We got to meet many new people and learned a lot of new things! It was a great experience! If you want to know more about being a leader or about the conference and what we learned talk to Kelsey or email her at 16kelsey.henderson@yorkville.k12.wi.us

You Are The Only YOU!

You are classic! You get one life...make it good. Be yourself!

-Ardan James

Create a goal!

We want you to set a goal that you want to reach, whether it is at school, in sports, in the future or anything else. To reach our goals we need to remain focused and not quit. Some things that might be in our way or stop us from reaching our goal are: 1.) drugs 2.) smoking 3.) alcohol 4.) quitting school/education
