Congrats Sheri Benscoter!

Big image

Resource instructional assistant, Sheri Benscoter is this week's GRIP winner! Sheri was nominated for displaying Purpose. Sheri puts the needs of students first and goes out of her way to ensure their success. She differentiates lessons and activities that enable her kiddos to experience school at the same level as their grade level peers do. Thanks for the job you do Sheri!

Don't forget to nominate a colleague who you catch "Getting a GRIP"! Nomination slips are here in the office.

IREAD is here!

As you know, the annual IREAD assessment will begin very soon. All third graders must complete a practice assessment before being able to take the actual test. In order to accomplish this we need to close the computer lab beginning on Monday, March 9th through Wednesday, March 18th. There have been some glitches in the testing software and limiting the use of computers during this process should help things run smoother. I apologize for this inconvenience, but this assessment is very critical. Please make use of the net-book cart and iPads during this time.
