Visible Learners of the Month
Last month students learned how to give and receive feedback that is directly tied to learning. Although we all like "praise", meaningful feedback provides an opportunity of reflection and continuous growth. Students understand that mistakes are necessary and a part of learning, but feedback allows us to grow and improve. The following students were chosen as this month's Visible Learner of the Month for exemplifying for others how to give, receive, and act on feedback. Congratulations!

Ms. Taylor's Media Center Updates
Kindergarten Principal's Book Club
The “Principal’s Book Club”is celebrated every month with kindergarten students who completed their reading log for the month. These students will be invited to the library to pick out a book from Ms. Taylor's book collection to add to their personal libraries at home. Mr. Weese, SEES Principal, will sign your child’s book and congratulate them for their reading accomplishments last month.
Your child’s teacher will send home a new reading log at the beginning of this month requesting that someone read along with your child for 10 minutes each night.
Reading aloud with your child daily helps promote the development of language and helps them gain the skills and knowledge needed for later success in reading. Our goal with the “Principal’s Book Club” is to promote a positive attitude about reading that will help our kindergartners develop a love for reading. We are looking forward to a successful book club for our young students.

Winter READING CHALLENGE- Due February 24th
Additional snacks are available at the cash register when your child pays for lunch. These snacks are available to any child to supplement their meal and can be charged on their account. If you do not want your child buying these snacks, please speak with your child. This can be monitored through the My School Bucks App.
Pay for school meals online with "MySchoolBucks.com". Easy-to-use, convenient, private and secure. Simply go to the website to enroll and to start using the site to deposit funds into your student’s lunch account. Once your account is established, you can check balances or fund the account anytime from your home computer, phone, or fax. Your child’s information is safe – it stays at school. Your personal and credit card information is protected by the most advanced internet security.
You will need your child's Student District ID Number, which can be found on your student's schedule, report card, or in Inifinite Campus Parent Portal. Parents may pre-pay by credit or debit card for student meals and ala carte items. Some of the benefits realized through participating in this system are:
- Avoid low balances and borrowing money from the office.
- Automatically add money to your account from your credit or debit card.
- Set spending limits and meal controls.
- View a 7 day history of meal purchases.
Please note: There is no fee for parents to set up an account and view a meal history. If parents wish to use myLunchMoney for pre-payment, there is a $1.95 per transaction fee. This charge is a processing fee on a per-site basis, so multiple charges may incur if you have students in different schools. The school district does not receive or profit from these fees.
Send Check or Cash
You can always bring money personally or send it with your student. Please place it in an envelope marked clearly with your student's name, their ID #, their teacher's name, the $ amount and the check #. Turn in prepaid deposits to the cafeteria cashier(s) or school office.
Eat Lunch with your Child
