Parents of Seniors with January 1st College Application Deadlines
The deadline for submitting requests for letters of recommendations or school reports to teachers and counselors so they can be completed before our Winter Break is Friday, December 9th. Students should plan accordingly as transcript requests are not processed over winter break.
Sending Transcripts: REMINDER!
Seniors applying to colleges who need official transcripts must use Parchment to request them.
Be sure and use a personal email (not school email) when setting up an account. Transcript orders are processed on school days - not weekends/holidays. If students want T1 grades to be included on their transcript, they should select “HOLD FOR GRADES.” Transcripts with T1 grades are usually ready a few weeks after the trimester ends.
Mental Health Services Available at EHS through Associated Clinic of Psychology
District 196 and Eagan High School offer Co-Located Mental Health Services to our students. EHS has teamed with Associated Clinic of Psychology to provide an office space within the school and a convenient way for students to access therapy; however the clinic is separate from EHS. More information can be found HERE. Registration HERE

Online Health, PE or English Elective Credit through EmpowerU
EmpowerU is a proven, data-driven program that provides students with the daily skills and personalized support they need to become confident, self-directed learners that can thrive in the face of adversity and challenges. The founders spent three-years developing a bold new approach, weaving together evidence-based strategies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a wellness focus with therapeutic coaching methodology. EmpowerU allows high school students to earn discretionary elective credit through site-licensed schools. Students could schedule a study hall during the day to work on this class during T2 or T3.
Contact your student’s school counselor for registration or more information.

College/Military Visits
The admission representatives that visit Eagan high school are the same people that review college applications. EHS College visits will begin starting the week of September 13th. We already have 31 colleges signed up for this month!!
Students can view these visits by logging into their Naviance Student account. Students should register on Naviance for both virtual AND/OR in person college visits. The registration in Naviance is the pass to leave class. If registering for a virtual visit during the school day, students should bring their iPad and earbuds to the counseling office to log-on for the visit. College visits are added daily, so students are encouraged to log into Naviance to see updates.
College Visits currently scheduled for the week of November 21:
Monday, November 21:
MN Army National Guard – 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, November 23:
U.S Air Force – 10:30 a.m.
** If students would like to attend any of these college visits, they can register on Naviance.
