The Establishment Of Legislative Branch

The Legislative branch has two authorities witch are the Senate and House of representatives which together form the congress. The congress is the one who makes laws that help us in our daily lives.

The Senate

The Senate is one who votes and writes bills. But the senate has the privilege of voting on whether or not to confirm the Presidents judicial nominees. The house of representatives do not have that privilege.

The Vice President of the United States serves as President of the Senate. The Senate has the sole power to confirm the appointments made for the president.
