COMMUNITY

Our first Parent Association meeting of the year was well attended. Thanks to all who were able to make time and join us. Parent Association president Stacey Crenshaw led the meeting and our 2nd Grade songbirds entertained the crowd with two beautiful songs. (Click on the link below to watch a brief video of their singing!) Future Parent Association meetings will include updates from committee chairs, curriculum highlights from Mrs. Sally Wilson, and state-of-the-school reports from Mrs. Scootie Clark. All members of our community are invited to participate in our Parent Association. "Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success." -Henry Ford

SPIRITUALITY

Our first Holy Communion of the year was a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and worship. Special thanks to the Middle School choir for their beautiful gift of song! Click on the link below for a brief smilebox capturing images of our special morning together.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

ART LAB FUN! Last week the Art Lab EXPLODED with COLLABORATION, CREATIVITY, and loads of SELF EXPRESSION! Ms. Havard facilitated the activity while students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade engaged in Circle Painting. This endeavor was LOTS of fun, a little messy, and a wonderful way to build self confidence before the students paint their own renditions of VanGogh's "Starry Night" beginning this week.
