Just a reminder that the 2015-2016 Grainger Tools for Tomorrow® Scholarship Program application deadline is Monday, March 16!

The Grainger Tools for Tomorrow® scholarship program helps student across the country, who are interested in careers in the skilled trades and public safety. realize their educational goals. Outstanding students are recognized with a $2,000.00 scholarship award and Westward® toolkit upon graduation.

- Enrolled for at least 12 credit hours/semester as a final year student in a skilled trades program, including electronic systems, heating/air conditioning, plumbing, welding, automotive, construction, facilities maintenance and other industrial trades or public safety program, including first responder, law enforcement, prison guard, firefighter, fire safety, emergency medical technician, emergency management and disaster preparedness programs.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Letter of recommendation from professor, teacher or advisor
- Grainger employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply

1. Complete Grainger Tools for Tomorrow®scholarship application form. For application form, e-mail: Tami Williams,
2. Provide one letter of recommendation from a professor, teacher or advisor
3. Complete official transcript request form and turn in to Admission and Records office, AD-220 ($5.00 fee)
4. Provide an essay of 200-300 words on why you choose to study skilled trades (automotive), how your achievements and/or leadership roles have helped you grow individually and your future career goals
5. Provide a list of clubs, activities, accomplishments, leadership roles held and years involved, including those to your field of study or military job experience
