In October, we will be recognizing Respect Week and Violence Prevention week through several school-wide activities including: Sidewalk positivity art, reading books about kindness and respect, singing songs about respect/diversity, writing about our differences and similarities and dressing up like superheroes with anti-bullying powers!

Important: Changing your child's educational program from remote to in-person instruction

If your child(ren) are currently remote learning students and you would like to change them to in-person instruction, the district will make changes at the beginning of each marking period. If you would like this change to occur for your child(ren) for the start of the 2nd marking period, please email making this request. We will reach out to you shortly with more information regarding making the change as the dates get closer. If you have any questions, please reach out at any time.

Halloween 2020

We will not be holding any Halloween celebrations this year at Chatsworth Elementary School during the school day.

However, the Chatsworth PTO is working on an event for Halloween. Please see below.

Our Kindergarten students have been getting to know each other and learning each other’s names. We have used the book and the song “Who Stole the Cookies from the Cookie Jar” and have been writing our names everywhere... even in play doh!

3rd Grade

Our class is getting excited for October with a new “Upside-Down Magic” book and 3rd Grade Pumpkin Day on October 16! Students will be spending the day working on all kinds of pumpkin activities including pumpkin writing, measuring, decorating, and reading!

Homelessness Information

The Woodland Township School District ensures that homeless children enroll and succeed in school and those children and their families receive the educational services for which they are eligible. Grant funds are available for eligible families through McKinney-Vento Homeless Grant and can be accessed through the district’s Homeless Liaison. 8th Grade Parents - BCIT Informaton

Application season for the 2020-2021 school year is expected to open on October 15th, 2020. Students will be required to take an entrance exam unless there is a long-term state-wide shutdown. We are also requesting that you include the most recent standardized tests scores when uploading documents to Powerschool (infosnap). We do acknowledge that there was no state testing this past spring.
