The Guild PTO - Madison Traditional Academy
Presidents' Update
Dear MTA families!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Thank you to everyone who donated pies - we were able to gift pies to all the MTA teachers, staff, MAC and preschool!
We have our first Sip + Shop fundraiser at the Evereve boutique at the Biltmore on December 6 from 5-7 pm. Join us for bubbly and shopping for a good cause!
- 15% of all sales on 12/6 will be donated back to the Guild.
- Please be sure to mention MTA! If you have questions or can’t make it to the store that day but still want to shop you support the school, please reach out to Sara Snyder.
- After you shop, make your way over to Blanco for dine-in or take-out for Spirit Night! They will donate 30% back to MTA (excluding alcohol + orders via apps don’t count so stop by or call it in!)
Here is what is happening now:
That’s a Wrap!
Our 4th grade families are heading up the December Teacher Appreciation but everyone can participate. The theme is all Holiday Wrapping! Feel free to donate any holiday wrapping (paper, bows, ribbons, tags, etc.) in the front office. Our goal is to have the teachers and staff pick out wrapping supplies the last week of school. 🎁
Guild Meeting
Our next Guild meeting is 12/11 at 6:30 pm in the MTA cafeteria. Logo items + uniform items sale beforehand. Most uniform clothing items are $1 so totally worth swinging by!
Membership Drive
Want a free MTA car magnet?
Join the MTA Guild (starts at $10!) and show your support for all the initiatives we provide our school, students, teachers and staff.
- The Guild helps fund and plan annual events like the ArtWalk, Parent Social and Sweetheart Dance, purchases specialized air filters for each classroom, funds the Owl-Star assemblies + awards, gives our teachers a $100 check to help fund their back to school needs and funds our Specials programs (Art, Music and P.E.) with equipment, supplies and so much more.
- The membership is an annual contribution via this link.
Raptor
Thank you for your patience with Raptor. The hours are now viewable for parents. Yay! There is a delay for hours added manually. Many hours are submitted at the end of the month - so if you attended a Guild meeting, donated pies or stock the lounge, those hours will populate the following month.
- If you received an email regarding your hours in error, send us an email: mtaguildboard@gmail.com
- We strongly suggest you keep a log (ex: Notes app in your phone) of your hours should there be a discrepancy.
- Also- please sign up for hours using your name in Raptor. We are unable to assign hours to a name not in the system. If a teacher is crediting your hours, make sure they are using your correct name also. Thank you for your help with this.
- If you are having technical issues (password, etc.) with your Raptor account, contact Liz Hernandez at the District office at lhernandez@madisoned.org or at 602-664-7959.
Don’t forget to buy your Zoolights tickets and let Aunt Chilada's do the cooking on December 5 for our Spirit Night! See you there!
