PSAT DAY: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2022 - MORE INFO/BELL SCHEDULE
On Wednesday, October 12, 2022, Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) will administer the PSAT to all Grade 10 students. The PSAT will continue to be offered free to all Grade 10 students. The PSAT provides an important measure of each student's readiness for advanced coursework, college and careers, and preparation for future college readiness examinations.
Only students in Grade 11 that paid the $19 fee for the assessment before September 12, 2022, are registered for the assessment. This date was the College Board's deadline to order PSAT/NMSQT test materials.
All students taking the PSAT will have the opportunity to participate, with your consent, in the optional Student Data Questionnaire. Here is the link to the form. Please scan the signed document and return it to Bradley_Rohner@mcpsmd.org. Or please have your child drop the signed document off in the main office. Whether or not you consent for your child to participate in the optional Student Data Questionnaire, your child will still participate in PSAT School Day on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
All students NOT participating in PSAT Day should arrive at school no later than 11:45AM on PSAT Day. If students require MCPS transportation, they should be at their bus stops at normal times. The auditorium will be available for those students until the PSAT administration is over.
What to Bring on Test Day? 2 No. 2 pencils with erasers & an approved calculator
Individual Testing Locations will be communicated prior to PSAT Day
If you have any further questions, please contact your child's school counselor or Mr. Bradley Rohner regarding the PSAT assessment at Bradley_Rohner@mcpsmd.org .

School Assembly
Montgomery County Public Schools, Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the Montgomery County Police Department have partnered to educate our high school students on how to keep schools and students safe. As a result of this partnership, the State’s Attorney’s office will be providing informational sessions to all MCPS high schools to raise awareness, increase knowledge of, and educate on gun violence. On Monday, October 17th, we will have a special presentation to all students. This presentation will be discussing the rise of gun violence and important steps we can all take to ensure the safety of ourselves and our school. We will have a modified Advisory Bell schedule to ensure limited loss of instructional time.
