First Aid for Children
If a child appears unconscious:
First, check for responsiveness.
Tap the shoulder of the child and ask if they are ok. If the child gives no response, call 911, and commence with the necessary procedures.
If the child is not breathing, perform 2 rescue breaths.
Tilt the airway up and create a seal around the mouth (and nose for infants).
If there is still no breathing, perform CPR or use an AED
In case of poisoning, call poison control or 911.
give care based on the conditions.
In case of seizures:
Remove nearby objects and DO NOT restrain the child. After the seizure passes moniter breathing.
