A huge WOW to the ladies in Harvey’s Café! Everyday they a special order is sent down for a student and they take the extra time to cut it up into small bites so he will try new foods. Due to them going above and beyond, this student has gone from only shredded cheese to a buffet of 5 things! Thank you! His mom teared up at conferences!--Lisa Chamberlain
A WOW needs to be tossed to Todd Swope for inviting a second grader, who was overwhelmed by the noise level of indoor recess, in the gym to play a game with the fifth graders.--Lisa Chamberlain
WOW to Julia Diekemper. She brings amazing skill, ideas, support, and compassion to room 11 every morning. She always has a smile on her face and is ready to help in any way possible. I truly appreciate Julia's dedication and her friendship! --Kathryn Allen
WOW goes to Deb Lodes! She was a terrific help with getting the dinner ready & set up as well as her 'washin' skills on clean up at Parent Teacher Conferences! I so appreciated her time! Thank you, Lodes!--Jane Hepler

WOW to Jane for organizing the conference dinner and to Deb for all your help getting it set up.--Dr. DeWeese
Super WOW to Shanna Bradley for coordinating the books and clues for our Library Scavenger hunt last night. I am so grateful to Angela Regan and Robin Coffey, too, for labeling the cards, passing out pizza, and many other tasks which helped with organization. We had a motivated crowd of 38 children exploring the Learning Commons for clues! Your Library is the key to open your eyes to the World!--Donna Baeten
SMART Goal Updates
What's Coming Up In 4th Quarter?
Staffing Update
On April 1st and April 4th we will conduct screening interviews for our classroom positions. Successful candidates will have an interview involving two members from 3rd grade, 4th, and 5th grade on April 7th and 8th. We may or may not need both days, it just depends on how many candidates move forward from the screening.
The PE position in our building has also posted. It will need to remain open for 10 days and then we will conduct those interviews.

Behavior Resources
We have talked a lot this year about maintaining a positive climate among ourselves, the adults in the building. What about the kids? How can we provide a more positive climate for kids, even the kids who don't "fit" in our mold of model behavior? Are there ways we could improve how we react to kids behavior or are there ways we could be more proactive about student behavior?
