Section School Feb. Newsletter
FEBRUARY 2021
PRINCIPAL'S NOTES
Being that February is a month filled with love, friendship, and positive energy, I would like to wish our entire Section family a Happy Valentine’s Day! I am thoroughly convinced that Section Elementary has the greatest students in the world! I love everything about our school. I love our student's work ethic. I love our student's kind hearts. I love that Section has an amazing teaching and support staff.
As we move into the second half of the school year (can you believe it), I want to thank you all for continuing to support your children, our staff and our school. Thank you for your kindness and support with behaviors, homework, and for modeling the importance of reading. Together as a school community we are doing great things and making a difference for our students.

Intradistrict Transfers Requests
Elementary schools will accept intra-district transfer requests for next school year January 1 through May 1. Parents desiring a transfer for their son or daughter must complete a form and submit to the building principal of their current home school. Intra-district transfers are requests for a district resident student to attend a Mukwonago Area School District elementary school other than the one assigned according to where he or she lives. Home school principals will notify the District office of these requests and the District office will determine placement. Transportation to attend a school outside of the home area is the responsibility of the parent. Students who are already attending a school as intra-district transfer students do not need to re-apply, however, new family members would need to do so. Parent notification of acceptance will be made by June 1st. Forms are available at each elementary school or download from the district website, Family Tab, Forms under K-12 general student forms/ printable forms www.masd.k12.wi.us.

This free lunch benefit is also available to virtual students, students in quarantine, preschoolers, and kids in daycare centers and private schools. Meals for these children can be ordered through our Nutrislice menu app. Instructions are provided here.
