Message from Dr. Ramirez
I hope you all enjoyed having a little break before we finish this once-in-a-lifetime year. My wife and I spent the weekend on Buck mountain and, outside of hiking some of Stone Mountain's trails, we did absolutely no work. I didn't even turn on my computer until Monday. Rested, like many, I am ready to finish this week strong!
We started our testing window about a month ago. Getting through the nuances of all things testing could not be done without a team effort. Thank you for you continued support. After Friday, we can say we are truly done with testing and the school year.
Testing, as you know, requires an all-hands-on-deck approach. Except on Friday, all staff members are required to work on campus. Teachers are also expected to be on campus next Monday and Tuesday unless Tuesday is swapped out for our graduation ceremony. Look for an official signup sheet that will go out later this week.
As the restrictions ease up, we plan to have a special retirement celebration for teachers who retired last year and who are retiring this year, The celebration will be held during the first week we are back in August. Look for a special invitation.
We have arrived at the end of our year. Like in the photo above, it's all down hill from here. We did it...and we did it WELL!
May you all have the BEST LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL EVER!
Carlos
