From the Desk of Mrs. Dowd
Hello Creekers,
Throughout the past month, I have been in the process of visiting classrooms to read A Fine, Fine School by Sharon Creech. This book tells the story of a principal who thinks that his school is a fine, fine school. So fine, that he begins having the students come to school on weekends, holidays, and in the summer!
We had class discussions about the importance of spending time both in and out of school. I loved hearing about all of the fun and interesting things your children do when they are not with us. (And it sounds like some of you probably spend a lot of time in your cars, taking your children to their many activities!) I'm really enjoying getting to know all of your kids - Mill Creek certainly is a very special place!
Enjoy the weekend!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lauren Dowd
Assistant Principal
Henry's Freedom Box
Mary Poppins, Jr. Tickets
Mary Poppins tickets purchased by cast members and their families for the evening performances will go home with students on Tuesday, 2/18.
