PRESENTERS: Norman Sieweke and Stephanie Jackson. Norman is a Consultant with the Institute for Innovation in Second Language Education (IISLE). Stephanie is a junior high FSL teacher in Edmonton. Both have extensive experience working with integrating innovative technologies into the L2 classroom.

Please note that laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, etc. will not be not provided. There will be lots of active learning in this session, so you will need your device!
In this session, participants will be creating a YouTube Channel. To do this, you will need a Google account. If you don't have one, create a free Google account at accounts.google.com/signup.

10:50-11:15 am Practical applications: including "Everything Google" for the L2 classroom (even if you're not from a Google district!)

12:45-2:25 pm Guided, hands-on practice with powerful technology tools to teach a second language
