Dear Oak Ridge Families,


We have officially finished another year at Oak Ridge Elementary School! This week we celebrated the end of MAP testing with the Cattlemen's Association providing and cooking hotdogs and burgers for us. We also celebrated the end of the year with play day. The link below will give you access to view all the play day fun photos. This edition highlights information regarding back to school changes for the 23-24 school year. Students were sent home with school supply lists that are very limited because we will be utilizing a school supply fee and will provide all school supplies for students in early childhood through 6th grade for the 23-24 school year. Additionally, we will not be able to offer after school care next year, however, we can still offer before school care. Students came home with an information verification sheet that needs to be returned to school within the next week. We will utilize this information to set up our online enrollment process for students beginning with the 23-24 school year. We will work on class rosters over the summer and will send out information about who your student's teacher will be in August. Watch for an email the first part of August regarding online registration for grades Early Childhood through 12th Grade.


If you live in the Oak Ridge School District and are the parent of a child ages birth through five, we will offer Parents As Teachers services for the 23-24 school year. Click the link below to sign up for services.


The first day of school for the 23-24 school year will be August 23rd. Open house is scheduled for the evening of August 17th. School pictures for students will be August 31st.


We have included links to online resources that will help students prevent summer learning loss if you are looking for something educational for students to do online this summer.


We will resume weekly newsletters in August.

Permission To Park Bike On Campus Form
Students that plan to ride a bike to and from school must have this permission slip outlining bike safety on campus on file in the office prior to bikes being allowed on campus.
After School Adventure Club Form
The Oak Ridge R6 School District offers after school care from 3:15-5:15pm for students in K-10th grades. Complete the form and return to the elementary office. The cost is $5 per day.
Free/Reduced Meal Application Form
If your income status changes throughout the year, please turn in an updated from to the office.
Bus Transportation Request Form
Complete this form for routing bus transportation to or from school. Call 573-266-3232 if you have questions or need a temporary bus change.
Parents As Teachers (PAT) Request For Services Form
Parents As Teachers (PAT) is a free program to help expectant parents and parents with students age birth through kindergarten age to ensure their children are reaching developmental milestones and are ready for school.
Oak Ridge Early Childhood Request To Enroll Form
Complete this form to get your child's name added to the list of candidates for the Early Childhood program.
District Remind Codes
Teachers are still creating Remind Codes for classes/extracurricular activities this week. An updated list will be sent out next week as well as posted on the district website.
