"When parents are involved in their children's education
at home, they do better in school. And when parents are involved in school, children go farther in school and the schools they go to are better." -A New Generation of Evidence: The Family is Critical to Student Achievement. (Henderson & Berla, 1994)
Math Mania
This week we are learning about the number "4". We are working on writing and recognizing the numbers from 0-4 in sequence. We will continue working as a class with our flower orders. And on our own we will be using number searches to identify the number four. In our art center we will be using shaving cream to practice writing the number four. It would be greatly appreciated if you could work with students at home on their numbers by reading books about numbers and helping students identify the numbers 0-4 around them.
