Letter From The CEO:
As the days get shorter and the temptation to snuggle up at home gets stronger, remember that we’ve got all the books and movies you need to relax through those long winter evenings.
If you’re not quite ready to hibernate yet, there’s also several events going on this month for all ages. The kids get Storytime weekly and our annual Winter Wonderland extravaganza on December 18. Or ring in the new year with the little ones at our Noon Years Party at noon on the 31st. Teens can enjoy art and journaling at Take Up Space on the 16th and the 30th. Adults get Book Club on the 7th, Crafters Corner on the 17th, and you can attend our monthly Food for Thoughts dinner or breakfast on the 2nd and 10th respectively.
We are looking for a new board member to join the team. If you live within the Library District (not the same boundaries as the Town, by the way), you can pick up an application from the library, download one from the website, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Library will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and will close at 2:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and remain closed on New Year’s Day.
Whichever of the season’s holidays you celebrate, we wish you happy ones.
Closing Early on New Year's Eve
We are fully open to the public! Come on in to see us 10am-6pm Monday through Friday, and 10am-4pm (closed from 12-1pm for lunch and cleaning) on Saturdays.
Curbside hours are constant every day, Monday through Saturday, from 10am until 5pm. Please email us at email@example.com or give us a call and let us know what we can gather for you. We'll arrange a time to pick up for contactless delivery.
Story time will continue throughout the month on Wednesdays and on Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
Story time will take a short break the week of Christmas (12/22 + 12/24) and will be back the following week of 12/26.
Winter Wonderland: A Reading Adventure
Noon Year Party
Take up Space: Teen/Tween art and mindfulness program
Each meeting, there will be an optional journal prompt and optional art activity. They are optional so the teens/tweens can have more freedom with what they create.

Regular Book Club and Compelling Issues Book Club
Book Club will meet on December 7th at 1:30PM and 6:30PM over the book The Night Watchman by Louise Erdrich.
Our Compelling Issues Book Club will meet every other month to discuss a title that is particularly thought-provoking. Next month's book is Hate: Why We Should Resist it With Free Speech, Not Censorship by Nadine Strossen . The discussion will take place at 1:30PM and at 6:30PM on January 18th at the library. Registration is required.
