Letter From The CEO:
Hello Everyone,
As the days get shorter and the temptation to snuggle up at home gets stronger, remember that we’ve got all the books and movies you need to relax through those long winter evenings.
If you’re not quite ready to hibernate yet, there’s also several events going on this month for all ages. The kids get Storytime weekly and our annual Winter Wonderland extravaganza on December 18. Or ring in the new year with the little ones at our Noon Years Party at noon on the 31st. Teens can enjoy art and journaling at Take Up Space on the 16th and the 30th. Adults get Book Club on the 7th, Crafters Corner on the 17th, and you can attend our monthly Food for Thoughts dinner or breakfast on the 2nd and 10th respectively.
We are looking for a new board member to join the team. If you live within the Library District (not the same boundaries as the Town, by the way), you can pick up an application from the library, download one from the website, or email me at ceo.bcld@gmail.com.
The Library will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and will close at 2:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and remain closed on New Year’s Day.
Whichever of the season’s holidays you celebrate, we wish you happy ones.
Amie P.
