FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH
As a reminder, Northside ISD students will receive meals at No Cost under the current USDA Waiver for the 2021-22 School Year. Although a Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application is Not Required for student meals, NISD families may benefit from the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT). P-EBT is a food benefit for families with children who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price meals at school during the COVID-19 pandemic. Child Nutrition Services will accept Free and Reduced-Price Meal Applications for potential P-EBT Benefits for the 2021-22 School Year. Qualifying for Free/Reduced Lunch also helps with discounted AP Exams and SAT fee waivers.
Families are welcome to fill out applications online at www.schoolcafe.com or pick up a paper application at the Free and Reduced Office located at 7520 Mainland Drive, San Antonio, TX 78250.
For more information, visit the Child Nutrition website at nisd.net/schools/menus.
Here is this week's letter communicating positive COVID cases of individuals who have been on our campus. We are sanitizing classrooms, cafeteria, locker rooms and high traffic areas on a daily basis. As always student and staff safety is our number one priority. Please know that contact tracing is done each time there is a positive case and students and staff who are deemed in close contact for each case are notified immediately
