Intensive Intervention
Please join the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's Training and Consultation Team (TaC) for virtual trainings in mathematics
Intensive Intervention in Mathematics is a course that was developed by the National Center on Intensive Intervention. Through the work of Dr. Sarah Powell, evidence-based practices and strategies will be shared to help strengthen participants’ knowledge base about how to support learners struggling in mathematics. This will be achieved through a Professional Learning Community in which participants will learn alongside and from one another in a collaborative and reflective learning environment.
Intended Audience: K-8 Regular Education Teachers, Special Education Teachers, Math Interventionists, Building Administrators
Educators who work for LEAs in the AIU3 region will have priority registration
- There is no cost for this training
- Act 48 hours available upon completion of the training series
*Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions as they build upon one another.
