Parent Teacher Conferences
Dear Parents and Students,
We are planning to hold REMOTE Parent-Teacher Conferences again this trimester. The date is Tuesday, January 18, between 4:00 and 7:00 PM. Here are the details:
Conferences will be split into 10-minute Zoom meetings with the entire grade-level team
The links to the sign-up sheets will be emailed in a SEPARATE newsletter, January 12th at 3:00 PM.
Be sure to include a valid email address and a phone number where we can reach you.
There is a separate link for each grade-level, Mr. Oaster, Mrs. Williams, and Mrs. Irwin.
Once you sign up for a time slot, a follow-up email with the Zoom meeting link will be sent to the address you provide in the sign-up sheet by 12:00 PM on the day of conferences (Jan 18th).
If you are unable to make Zoom work, continue to sign up for a time slot in the links below, and then reach out to Mr. Stockwell at scotstoc@hpsvikings.org to request a phone call instead.
On the night of conferences, you will join the Zoom meeting into a “Waiting Room.” The teaching staff will admit you to the Zoom conference at your appointed time.
If all the time slots fill up and you are unable to sign up, please reach out to the individual teachers via email with any of your questions. Please give teachers a full week after conferences to respond, as they each have approximately 120 students.
Due to the limited number of slots available, I will be activating the Sign-up Sheets at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 12th. This will give everyone a chance to read this message and plan appropriately for sign-ups.
If you have any questions or concerns about our REMOTE Parent-Teacher Conferences this year, please reach out to me.
Sincerely,
Scott Stockwell
HMS Principal

Holiday Light Extravaganza 2021- Winners
With just over 60% of our 104 votes, congratulations are in order for the 7th Graders (Class of 2027). As last year’s winning student body, you have retained your crown!
Thank you to all the students and staff who participated this year. You’ve made our community a little brighter this Holiday Season!
As thanks for our contribution to the lights in town, the Hopkins Lions Club has donated Krispy Kreme Donuts for every student in our building! I’ll be working with grade-level teams to determine a date for the delivery of the donuts.
Thank you, Lions Club!
