Putting It All Together for Reading-Language Arts Teachers: Our Curriculum, Our Instructional Framework, and Our Resources
We will work through the SAISD Secondary R-LA Planning Protocol, beginning with unpacking TEKS from performance assessments that cluster standards from the current unit in the YAG, integrating reciprocal reading and writing skills, developing learning targets, and finding the best resources to serve our students in learning those targets. This will be a time for us engage in planning, so that we can support teachers in processing the important touchstones of our work: curriculum, assessment, instruction, and resources!
Special note: This session will emulate the sessions presented to teachers during September PLNs. All secondary R-LA and academy coaches are welcome to this session!
