Principal's Message
I'm excited about the start of the 2022-23 school year and can't wait to have all of the Mustangs back tomorrow! Welcome back to our families of 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students and welcome to our new 9th-grade families. This communication is to provide you all with important information pertaining to back-to-school norms and what to expect. Let's have a look, shall we?
School Opens @ 8:20 AM
Door Access Cards ($5 Charge old card will be disabled)
During the first 3 days of classes, Mrs. Rayburn (Librarian) will be available to make door access cards in the library from the 1st-8th period. Students who have never received their door access cards will receive one, free of charge. Lunch Drop Off
Parents may drop off lunches for their students in the front office secured vestibule. It is the parent's responsibility to notify their student that their food has been dropped off. It is the student's responsibility to retrieve their lunch from the secured vestibule.
No Commerial Deliveries
We do not allow any other food deliveries other than parent drop-offs. DoorDash, Uber Eats, or any other food delivery services will not be accepted.
Picture Day & C Day- Friday, August 19th
This Friday we will be running our C-Day schedule (more on that in a minute) and taking our yearbook photos. Remind your student that not only will these pictures appear in the yearbook, but they will also become their Student ID, which they will be required to wear daily.

We understand that there are health appointments and other reasons your student may need to leave school early. In order to provide you with a smoother and quicker pick-up you may want to: Call ahead and let me know what time you would like your student ready to go! (At least 15 minutes, but early that day is good, too.)
Please make sure that the person picking up your student is a parent or emergency contact listed in Skyward. We cannot release a student to someone not listed!

JUNIORS & SENIORS – Important Teacher Aide Information:
If you have a Teacher Aide listed in your schedule, please email the teacher you would like to serve as an aide for. If you already reached out to a teacher last spring, please follow up with them to make sure the period you have teacher aide works with their schedule (teachers did not know their schedules last spring). If a teacher approves you as their teacher aide, they will fill out a Google form they have been given from counseling. Once teachers submit the form, counselors will add the teacher's name and room number to your teacher aide period on your schedule.
