HOW DID HIS ADVERSITY BECOME A CHALLANGE AND HOW DID IT EFFECT MAXCY FILER? (CAUSE/EFFECT)

In California Maxcy Filer tried to pass the almost impossible bar exam. A big ADVERSITY that he was challenged to is that he couldn't pass the exam. Instead of giving up he continued to try until he did pass it. Another challenge that Maxcy faced was not being able to pass the exam the first forty-seven times because he was not prepared enough and it was a very difficult test. Finally after all the time and money put into the bar, Maxcy Filer passed the exam at the age of 61. A lot of people give up because they think that they cannot do something. He had a CONVICTION that he could pass this test, and finally he did. From this I've learned that if you continue to try again you can succeed although you may not the first few times.

Isabelle has a very serious eating disorder, that her mom didn't know about until her younger sister ratted her out. As a result Isabelle is stuck in a therapy group where she can learn not to throw up. Another solution to her problem of throwing up is having good influences. In the story Isabelle is faced with a bad influence, the most popular girl in her school. After a while Isabelle realizes that Ashley isn't what she intends to be, so she learns to be confident in her self as the solution.

CAINE PERSEVERES TO SELL ARCADE TICKETS (DESCRIPTION)

In Los Angeles Caine sat on his lawn chair, waiting for a customer for his cardboard arcade. Through long summers Caine sat outside. Finally his first customer came, then after that many more came. He started out with just one customer that bought a fun pass for $3.00. One reason that this shows PERSEVERANCE is because although Caine didn't sell any tickets for a very long time, he stood outside waiting and making his arcade better. He had a strong ambition to become better and not give up, finally all his work paid off. Hundreds of people gathered outside of his arcade waiting in line to buy a fun pass. People with posters and signs, filled with excitement ready to play in his arcade. Caine was a very ambitious person who always wanted to succeed, no matter how hard it would be. Even with DIFFICULT obstacles Caine was able to get his arcade public, just because of one fun pass that was sold.
