Charger Check-In
October 27, 2022
A Note from Ms. Owens
We are staying busy at St. Catherine with October activities. This week, we've had two successful safety drills - our annual lockdown drill and our official fire/evacuation drill. Our Red Ribbon Week festivities have been great fun with pledges to make healthy choices, dressing in silly socks and hats to remind us to make good decisions from head to toe, and today, Student Council held hourly raffles for students to win Red Ribbon-related prizes. As we wind down Fire Prevention Safety Month, another group of SCA students - this time our first graders - learned about fire safety with a presentation from Mr. Ryan. Tuesday morning, we also shared in our last school-wide rosary for the Month of the Holy Rosary. Finally, October is also Celebrate Life Month, and as the image above announces, baby bottles should be returned to school tomorrow or at Mass this weekend!
Please note that extended care will not be available the afternoon of Friday, November 18 to allow for that evening's Holiday Wishes Vendor Fair.
For our famlies with older children, it is the season of open houses for area high schools. There are details for upcoming open houses near the bottom of the Check-In.
For our families with little ones at home, Toddling Chargers is returning soon. The kick-off date is Friday, November 4. There are more details further down in the Check-In.
