Ogg Library
September 3-6, 2019
Accelerated Reader
As ISIP and DRA testing gets wrapped up, your students may now begin taking AR tests.
- Remember to set points goals and enter them in AR.
- See the Ogg Teacher AR Guide for directions on goal setting and use 9wk AR Goal Setting/Reading Level Guide.
- Add your students' Reading Level Ranges to the Library folders so we can help students find books within their zones of proximal development.
Library News
The library is collecting Box Tops. If you and your students have clippings, send them to the library. Collecting Box Tops just got easier. Download the Box Tops for Education app, purchase Box Top items, and scan your receipt. Easy peasy!
Breakfast Club begins Wednesday, September 4th, 7:30 - 8:00 am. Third and fourth grade students will be able to get a pass from staff on duty in the gym to come to the library to read, take AR tests, and work on homework.
Smencils will be sold in the library each Friday morning for $1.50, 7:30 - 8:00 am.
Dot Day is coming up. Because Sept. 15 is a Sunday, we will celebrate Dot Day on Friday, September 13. Wear your dots. Plan dot activities. Read The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds to your class. I'll be reading it in the library, as well. You can find it in Tumblebooks.
