Book Spotlight!
It has been a while since we focused on picture books in the book spotlight, so this week you get to enjoy learning about two new additions of picture books to our library. These are books that our youngest readers will especially enjoy.
In Be A Maker the reader will follow two friends as they move through the day and show the different ideas they have to make fun projects. The book shows how one idea can lead to another and how those ideas can inspire change and the making of something special for the community to share. Your young readers will enjoy following the book characters through all their creative ideas.
Just Because follows the conversation a young girl has with her dad while he puts her to bed. As every parent knows, children seem to have an endless amount of questions right when they are supposed to be going to sleep. Well, the dad in this cute tale gives the most creative answers for the endless questions his daughter has. It shows great imagination and is very entertaining.
Request library books by filling out the Library Book Request Form. Check out these books and others by searching the Holmes Library catalog by clicking here and then selecting "Holmes Elementary School."
