Update from the Teacer
Distance Learning
Hello Everyone,
I will be including a link to the lessons in this post as will as in Seesaw for all of you to check out before we begin on Monday. Look it over, and if any question, let me know. I'm super flexible with how this is all going to go down.
Thanks Everyone,
Quinn
Contacting the Teacher
I will be checking Seesaw frequently while we are doing Distance Learning.
Official Hours: 9-11am and 1-2:30pm
During the listed times, I will either be working with students on video chat or readily available to answer questions. You can contact me anytime with questions though, and I will get cack to you.
At this point, the best and fastest way to contact me is through Seesaw or email. You can message me and I will be checking it continually. If you have questions this weekend, feel free to send them my way.Phone calls: At this point, phone calls are not the best way to contact me.
Daily Attendance
For the first week, I will be hosting a Zoom meeting that begins at 10am. Your child will be asked to jump into the meeting, if possible, so I can make face to face contact with them. They will say hello to me and some friends that are online. They can then hop off. This doesn't need to be long, but allows me to make contact with your child each day and check in.
They are expected to post to Seesaw for assigned work, or just to say hi or how the work is going. This will also help me to know they are completing assigned work.
The Zoom link will be sent out through your child's Seesaw account on Sunday night with the 10am invite time...I hope.
Clever
This tutorial will help you to learn how to use Clever to access many student tools including Seesaw and IXL.
Odds and Ends
For those that have done the ELC- Wolf Ridge Cookie dough fundraiser. For now, just hold on to all orders until I get back to you with further instructions from those in charge.
Again, Thanks You, and contact me with any questions
