Meet Mrs. Ramshaw, Speech Language Pathologist
Mrs. Jennifer Ramshaw is new to Oak Grove this year and this is her third year as a Speech Language Pathologist. She’s originally from Chicago but moved to Kansas to complete her undergraduate degree at The University of Kansas and her master’s degree at Rockhurst University. When she’s not at school, you can find her playing tennis with her husband, spending time in the kitchen baking or eating tacos and ice cream. Mrs. Ramshaw is beyond excited to be a part of the Oak Grove family this year!

- Costumes may not cause disruption or distraction to the classroom. Costumes may not interfere with students sitting at their desks. Students must be able to wear their costume inside or outside, at recess, at P.E., on the bus, etc.
- Costumes should not interfere with the ability of a student to go to the bathroom by themselves.

Blended Learning Remote Check-Ins
The Kansas State Department of Education requirement is to have a once a day check in on any day students are learning from home. As an extra support for our blended learners on their remote days, we are incorporating a check-in time each morning for students with their teacher. Teachers have shared their check-in time and process with students and families in their class. All blended learning students need to check-in with their teacher at the time provided on their remote days. Daily connection with each student is important and will assist in understanding of the days activities. This also meets the requirement by the Kansas State Department of Education for daily contact with students on any day that they are learning from home. Students that do not show up are marked absent. Thank you!
