Partiot Tickets

In order to recognize positive behavior at Westwood High School, the staff put together a list of expectations/characteristics that define what it means to be a Westwood Patriot. Students who display these behaviors are given a Patriot Ticket which enters the into a weekly drawing for things like gift cards, food, etc. Below is a list of the Patriot Expectations.

The goal of this idea is to promote positive behavior throughout the school and recognize those students who choose to make good choices.

WHS Students Selected to Area Honors Band

The following students were selected for the 2023 WSMA Menominee River Conference Honors Band on January 20th and 21st at Niagara High School in Niagara, WI. Each student was nominated and selected for participation in this year's honors band because of their outstanding musicianship and leadership within the Westwood High School Band.

The Menominee River Conference Honors Band is comprised of more than 80 students

These students spent two long days rehearsing and improving their musicianship with award-winning and internationally acclaimed band composer and music educator Mr. Paul Murtha from Calabash, NC.
