By Elizah and Marina
Tourism is a problem because the tourists are using to much resources from the local people in Central America or the Caribbean.
Effects of tourism are that the tourists are using too many resources that the local people have shortages (electricity, food, water, etc.), cruise ships and resorts pollute their air, and 20 million people come per year that causes damage to the environment.
A solution to tourism effecting the environment is eco tourism. Eco tourism is a way to have tourism without hurting plants or animal habitats. This will help because plants and animals are being destructed because of tourists coming into their habitats.
