St. Michael Preschool News

Growing with God...

Dear St. Michael Preschool Families,

As we get ready to officially welcome Fall, we also look forward to joyfully celebrating St. Michael Feast Day! On September 29 & 30, we will pray and play together in honor of our patron saint. Your child's teachers have planned fun and meaningful activities inside and outside the classroom including a visit from our Pastor, Fr. Michael, and parish priest, Fr. Noe. Please also visit the church website for a detailed list of special events including a Novena, Vigil Mass, Parish Mission, and coloring contest.

We thank you for your continued support and prayers, and may St. Michael the Archangel protect you and your loved ones always. St. Michael, keep us safe day and night, give us courage, strength, and might. Amen.

Lisa Ciesla

Preschool Director

Driving and Parking Lot Safety

  • Please drive with caution, and adhere to the posted speed limit and directional signs while in our parking lot
  • Remember that you must park in a marked spot
  • Hold your child's hand in the parking lot during arrival and dismissal
  • No curbside parking is permitted, even with a driver remaining in the car as this creates traffic and safety hazards
  • Please never leave children in the car without adult supervision

Early Arrival & Lunch Program

Need some extra time to run errands or get to an appointment? We can help! We still have openings in our early arrival and lunch programs. Your child will enjoy the extra time to socialize and play!

Early Arrival - available daily; drop off begins at 8:15 am

Lunch Program - available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday; pick up is at 1:30 pm

Extended Day Program Registration is now available online. It is offered in two payment options, the discounted monthly payment schedule or for ultimate flexibility a daily payment schedule. Details regarding our Extended Day Programs can be found on our website. Please note COVID procedures apply.

If a child develops one of the COVID-19 exclusionary symptoms (fever of 100.4 or higher, chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, new cough, or new loss of taste or smell), families have three options:

  1. stay home for 10 days from when symptoms first began, or
  2. get a negative COVID test, or
  3. get a note of alternate diagnosis from the pediatrician

If a child is sick with a non-exclusionary symptom, like a fever under 100.4, stuffy or runny nose, sore throat, vomiting, or diarrhea, our normal illness policy applies (24 hours free of diarrhea, vomiting, and fever without fever-reducing medication before returning to school). Your child must feel well before returning to school.

Snack Allergy Policy

  • Children will bring their own snack to school. We ask that it be just one or two items that can be easily enjoyed by your child.
  • Snacks may NOT contain peanuts/nuts or peanut/nut products. This includes foods that have been produced/processed in a plant with nut products.
  • Avoid potential choking hazards - all grapes, cherries, and mini tomatoes need to be cut in half. Popcorn and hard candy are not permitted.
